Iron Leaguer - 1v2

Episodes 1~4 v2

Imban graciously went back over episodes 1 through 4 to touch up some rough dialog, and I also changed some of the typesetting in the first few episodes that we changed in later ones to make them more compatible. Nothing special here, otherwise.

Also, just as a reminder, Alpha Numbers is still looking for translators!

  1. Do you have seperate patchfiles that fixes the typesetting/translation issues? It would be really appreciated!

    • No, we do not.

  2. Hi! Perhaps I’ve come too late for this, but I just wanted to let your current translator know that, if they’d like to know how names could be spelt more correctly, they can check out the official site ( and/or the Japanese page of the Wikipedia (!%E3%82%A2%E3%82%A4%E3%82%A2%E3%83%B3%E3%83%AA%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AC%E3%83%BC). In addition, some time ago I casually stumbled in this sort of “Iron Leaguer Glossary” (, if it could come in handy. ^^

    • He has the official guidebook for the series that has all that data in it (and probably is where those pages got their info from). It just happened to not have the one team he was hung up on a bit ago.

      • I never knew there was an official guidebook. that’s so cool/.

I agree with what the guy said above… googling around doesn’t hurt to find out names of crap lol.

        • Not exactly an official guidebook, but the the DVD boxsets each had a minibooklet with all the major characters, plus more or less all the teams. The team in question I threw the question up on chiebukuro with no answer replied back.

you gotta try try and try again till they respond lol. how’d you ask it anyway? i usually ask with the link to the video and the minute and second the name comes up.

  3. Pardon my rudeness, but it’s been around 3 months. Any chance of a status update? I’m really hoping this project isn’t dead.

    • The staff has been busy with other things lately. We haven’t given a release schedule, so we don’t feel the need to release things until they’re done.

If we are going to stop subbing, we’ll be sure to make it very clear that we are. Until then, if you’d like us to release things faster we’re still looking for more translators!

      • Oh no, I don’t care about the release schedule because you’re doing a fantastic job. I just wanted to know what was up. Thanks for clearing things up.

  4. This series is great, thank you for subbing it!
    Giving you my support.
